How to clean the WordPress admin dashboard for store operators

Admin clutter slows store teams

Default dashboard widgets are rarely useful for WooCommerce operators who live in Orders, Products, and analytics. Hiding Welcome, News, and similar boxes makes the admin feel calmer without changing capabilities.

What gets hidden

Common core widgets such as Welcome, At a Glance, Activity, Quick Draft, and WordPress News. The plugin is admin-only UX cleanup — no front-end output.

Setup

Install, activate, and reload `/wp-admin`. Confirm the noisy widgets are gone. Deactivate anytime to restore defaults.
